Pink eyes are red type, you really see in albino rats, while the eyes are ruby red, much darker than you, when the light strikes them. Ruby eyes are very simple in the picture, though seen.

Not sure of genetics, but only certain colors (eg beige) to ruby eyes. Siemese and albino (not) always able to genetically albino pink eyes. Ruby eyes are dark and can sometimes appear almost black.
